About Me

Alanna Carlson Sinclair, BA, JD

Lawyer and Consultant

Treaty 6 Territory, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Canada

I am a multi-passionate lawyer, consultant and educator focused on workplace alchemy.

I’ve spent half a decade working in human rights law—as counsel, investigator, mediator, and trainer— working with people and organizations through some of their most complex challenges. Along the way, I saw firsthand that many workplaces weren’t just dealing with legal risk—they were struggling with burnout, miscommunication, and cultures that left people feeling unseen and unsupported.

So I decided to do things differently.

I founded Alanna Carlson Consulting to help organizations build workplaces where people feel safe, valued, and able to do their best work. My approach combines deep legal knowledge with lived experience of neurodivergence, queer identity, and chronic illness recovery. I know what it means to navigate systems that weren’t built for you—and I know what’s possible when those systems are redesigned with care.

My work is trauma-informed, grounded in ethics, and deeply practical. I specialize in:

  • Workplace investigations and mediations
  • Policy writing
  • Trainings and Internal training material development
  • Workplace alchemy audits and culture assessments
  • Neuro-inclusive executive coaching
  • Speaking and education

I also run The Parasympathetic Pig, a project that shares nervous system-informed strategies for resilience and recovery—especially for high-achievers with chronic illness, trauma, or burnout.

Whether I’m helping a small business navigate a complex issue, supporting a workplace through a policy overhaul, or coaching a leader toward a more inclusive management style, my goal is the same:

To support meaningful, sustainable workplace alchemy—rooted in compassion and strategy.

Let’s build something better, together.
